Hale can be used to receive care for any medical matter that doesn’t require an in-person visit to the office. This actually represents a large number of issues you might connect with your doctor about, ranging from management of a chronic condition to handling acute issues that don’t require a physical examination. If at any point your doctor feels it is most appropriate to see you in person, they will let you know – otherwise there are many situations where you can conveniently get the care you need, wherever you happen to be.

Some examples include:

  • Acute issues – colds, headaches, rashes, etc.
  • Managing a chronic condition with your doctor
  • Follow-up after an in-person appointment
  • Medication renewals or refills

It is important to note that the Hale app is not intended for medical emergencies. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, please either call your doctor directly or seek immediate care by calling 911.
