With just a few clicks, clinical teams can create and send detailed payment requests to their patients—who can conveniently review and complete payment right through the Hale Health app on their phone. Patients have the option of managing their preferred credit cards from within the app, or they can take advantage of direct Apple Pay integration to easily authorize charges with Touch ID.

Creating a Collection Request

From the Dashboard:

  1. Open the Payments tray by clicking the bill icon in the upper righthand corner of the dashboard.
  2. Click the button to add a new request, then find the desired patient in the list or search for them by name.
  3. Fill out the payment details: billing provider, service date, and itemized details.
  4. If you’d like to add multiple line items, click Add Item to add a new row.
  5. When the request is complete, click “Send Request”

The payment request will be sent and the patient will receive a notification through the Hale Health app, as well as an email notification.

From the Patient Case View:

  1. Open the Payments tray by clicking the bill icon in the upper righthand corner of the patient profile.
  2. Fill out the payment details: billing provider, service date, and itemized details.
